A Weekend Off

Mary-Beth and I are taking the weekend off to rest up after a great 1st week on the road. We are staying in Coeur d’ Alene & going to the Fair with our middle son and 2 of our grandkids. After church tomorrow we will head down to Worley for the next leg of our adventure early Monday morning.

I thought I would give an idea of what I’m figuring out on the nutrition side of things. Not really sure how many calories I am burning a day, but it’s a lot. Here is my week #1 routine:

Breakfast (before I leave in the AM) – Egg bite, protein shake with a banana & black coffee.

Morning Snack – Peanut butter & jelly sandwich cut into 4 squares, one square every 45 minutes or so.

Lunch (around 10:30 -11) – Meat sandwich with cheese, 2 fig or granola bars, nuts.

Afternoon Snack – 2nd PB&J Sandwich, organic meat sticks, nuts

Upon arriving to the RV I have been craving Salt & vinegar potato chips.

Through out the day I will drink from 180 – 240 oz of water & electrolytes that’s between 1-2 gallons per day.

Dinner – Whatever delicious dinner Mary-Beth makes, but I will say I have been craving pasta!

On a funny note, my friend Mark made the cool AI photo on the cover of this post. Some moments I wish I actually had a bike like that! Have a great weekend!
