I Got a fairly early start this morning @ 7:30 am. I am riding solo this week, missing Brandon for sure, but it was a wonderful time in natures theater and with the Lord. It was a cool morning, which helped me ride fast. The scenery was amazing as I rode along the Southern part of Lake Coeur d’ Alene, through the town of Harrison and then along the Coeur d’ Alene River into the Bitter Root Mountains and the Silver Valley.

I had to share the bike path with a baby moose. It is not the first time I have had an encounter of the animal kind. I mentioned seeing a lot of deer, but one of the most fun encounters was with a small group of Cows who had gotten out of their fence and were hanging out on the bike path. When we approached them they began to run with us for at least 1/2 mile before they found their way back into the fencing.
I gave Ms Moose plenty of room and nudged her along with my bike bell, not a great idea to get to close to a moose, they can do some damage if they are spooked. Nature had some display for me this morning…it made God’s presence very powerful as I rode and we talked.

I arrived pretty early in Wallace around 1:30 pm. Mary-Beth and I had time to walk around and enjoy Wallace. We even shared an Affogato! I have been craving one since we were in Seattle, who would have known Wallace, Idaho would be the spot to enjoy one! Thanks for joining us on this journey!
