Today was a much needed rest & travel day. We spent the morning in Cody, Wyoming enjoying a local coffee shop and taking a 1 hour city tour which we both loved letting someone else do the navigating! When you don’t have much time to see a city buckle up and take a city tour.

We learned all about Buffalo Bill Cody, much of his colorful history we did not know. Cody plays a very important role in the opening of the American West and the Wyoming territory. We would have loved to have a couple more days to see the museums & other local haunts.
We went to a western gunfight show outside the historic Irma Hotel built by Buffalo Bill Cody and named after his youngest daughter Irma.

After the tour, we jumped on the road for the 3 hour drive back to Bozeman to catch a flight tomorrow to Texas for a wedding. We will be back in Bozeman on Monday and drive back to Cody to ride out on Tuesday AM. Thanks for joining us on the journey!
