Friday night it rained all night into the early morning. But, the rain had stopped as I began to get ready to ride out on my fast bike this morning. First stop was Scribner, where Mar-Beth and I would meet for coffee at a little coffee shop called Elkhorn River Coffee Shop. It and a giant corn silo were the only things in Scribner of note.

After coffee, I jumped back on the bike and headed to Fremont where we would meet at Walmart and I would finish the day early. We are meeting our friends the Penners for the Nebraska Husker game at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

After the game we would head with them down to Beatrice, Nebraska to the Penner Family farm to spend our rest day with their family. Looking forward to the game and a day off.

Of Coarse Hwy 275 in the last 15 miles started getting really ruff and was in bad shape. I ended up getting a flat on my rear tire of the fast bike and Mary-Beth and to come and switch my bike out. I had left my tire change tools on the other bike when I packed up that morning…bummer!.

When I did get to Walmart, it was a quick shower in the motorhome and lunch, before we jumped on the road heading for Lincoln for the game.
