Day #43 Biking Across America, Nevada to Ashland, Ohio – 47 Miles

Today was a special day of riding, my last solo ride on this epic journey. I must admit I have really enjoyed all the time alone to be with God on the road. I started yesterday thinking through my life, from my earliest memories and thinking about all the places where I noticed God showed Himself in my life through the years.

I also took time to remember the people who impacted me along the way, both positively and negatively. For those who a blessing in my life I prayed prayers of thanksgiving and blessing for them. For those that hurt me in some way I prayed that God would work in their lives and show Himself to them.

For those I somehow hurt or negatively impacted, I asked for God’s forgiveness and prayed healing and blessing in their life. I have realized what a gift this time has been. When do you have 6-8 hours a day to think & pray, especially while moving through the beauty of the countryside. What a gift it has been!

Today we are staying at a farm that produces maple syrup and raises honey bees, a cool spot. It was interesting to learn a bit about how they extract the maple syrup from the trees and process it. So interesting1

Thanks for joining us on the journey!
