Today was a big day, my last Saturday ride before we arrive in DC. The Ohio countryside was quite beautiful as most of the days have been. I have noticed that the Ohio countryside is much hillier in Eastern Ohio and even more so as I biked into Pennsylvania.
I had to pinch myself when I heard Google say “You are now in Pennsylvania! It could hardly believe how far we have have come, and this journey is coming to a close in less than a week. CRAZY!
We have really been enjoying all the animals we are encountering. The cows, sheep & goats at Duma Ranch and this regal hoarse I rode past this morning. All of this and still more, the amazing Fall colors and becoming more visible and intense with each passing day.
Trey arrived this afternoon, after a very long flight from San Diego. We will be taking the day off tomorrow in Akron. I rode to Pennsylvania today, to the campground we will be staying at Sunday night. When then drove back to Akron to pick up Trey and go to Church. Our good friend Glenn Linbaugh and his daughter will be joining us for church at Five39.
In the afternoon after church we will head back to Pennsylvania to prepare for our ride into Pittsburgh on Monday. Thanks for joining us on the journey!
